The things I do, enjoy doing, or would like to do (or do more).
The hobbies I do most frequently and consistently.
I have always enjoyed art but rarely find the inspiration or time to do it. Outside of the occasional doodle, my enjoyment of art gets limited to its usefulness in work or personal projects like photoshopping old photos or records (correcting color, exposure, or damage), and making assets, logos, templates, mock ups, or designs.
On nice days, I enjoy taking pictures on walks. Back in Prague these pictures would generally be of tucked away gardens, buildings or statues, or the view of the city line from an overlooking hill.
Now living in the countryside, the pictures are mostly of the nature from all around the village's surrounding hills, fields, and forests.
Hobbies I do on and off for different reasons.
I am someone who tends to hold onto a lot of mementos (some of which could just be seen as trash). So I started putting them into a scrapbook (all organized together with some notes on the page). Things like tickets or maps from traveling or cards or letters I get from family and friends.
Every now and then, I even print out pictures and go back and add the photos in, and add some writing or notes to the page (often behind a removable item: hiding little details like surprises to find months or years later).
From digitizing family records and pictures, to searching online for records, and organizing it all - I have done much work on this hobby and there is much more to do.
It generally requires a lot of time, so I end up starting and stopping over months or years depending on what else I have going on (and what resources I have at the moment to help).
I have tested different family software, know a lot of random facts about genealogy resources, have made my own ID system due to too many duplicate names, and can easily explain what a "twice removed" cousin means.
Hobbies I have strong interest in and desire to do but haven't started yet.
